The University of Utah has selected Mary G. Parker as associate vice president for enrollment management.

Parker, who comes from Louisiana State University, will be responsible for designing and carrying out the U.'s first integrated strategic enrollment plan. She will begin her new job in Utah on Sept. 12.

Parker has worked in enrollment management at Louisiana State since 2004 and has worked as chief enrollment officer and executive director of undergraduate admissions and student aid since 2007. Under Parker's guidance, Louisiana State's overall enrollment increased by 14 percent and the university admitted the largest and most diverse freshman class in its history, according to a U. news release.
