Experts will guide parents of children with special needs toward the latest technological resources during a 6 p.m. session Monday at the Salt Lake City Main Library.

Gailynn Gluth, the founder of Wynsum Arts, a business that links families with online and technological resources, will address ways to help children with autism and other challenges. The event will take place in the library's main auditorium, 210 E. 400 South.

Gluth, the parent of an autistic child, created Wynsum Arts to help meet families' needs.

A panel discussion discussing mobile technology will highlight work at institutions such as the University of Utah Center for Disability Services. Cheryl Wright, an associate professor with the University of Utah's family and consumer studies program, and Michael Hardman, dean of the College of Education, will lead the discussion.

The event is free and open to the public.
