St. George • Some St. George residents have been forced out of their condominiums by a condemnation order prompted by an unstable hillside.
Resident Bud Thomas told The Spectrum newspaper that 16 condos in The Gardens South are sliding downhill. Movement in the hillside has caused large cracks in the two-story complex and broken water and gas lines.
Residents faced a 5:30 p.m. Friday deadline to vacate the premises.
