A St. George personal fitness trainer was arrested Tuesday for allegedly having sex multiple times with a 14-year-old male client.

Officers investigated allegations that Suni Faith Andersen, 36, made sexual advances — during workouts — toward the now-16-year-old boy two years ago.

The advances escalated into sexual encounters when the teen was at her home "during his fitness training session," according to a release from the St. George Police Department.

The encounters between the two continued over "a period of time."

The St. George Police and the Department of Child and Family Services have jointly investigated the case.

Andersen was arrested and booked into the Washington County jail on suspicion of five counts of forcible sex abuse and five counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
