Salt Lake City's Tracy Aviary will open its new Owl Forest exhibit Saturday.

The display will feature six owl species and a winding path through a 112-pine-tree forest. Visitors may come face to face with the owls, all of which were injured in the wild then sent from rehabilitation facilities to the aviary for educational purposes.

The Owl Forest is on an ongoing aviary upgrade and renovation, paid for by a $19.6 million bond, approved by Salt Lake County voters in 2008.
