A bomb squad destroyed a suspicious package at a North Logan car wash Thursday afternoon.

About 12:30 p.m., police found the case stuffed under a bush at a car wash near 100 East and 1800 North, said North Park police Sgt. John Italasano.

The county's bomb squad destroyed the case, which actually contained welding rods, he said.
