Great entertainment • Watch your neighbors perform at Taylorsville's Got Talent beginning 7 p.m. Saturday at Taylorsville High School, 5225 S. Redwood Road. Tickets are $5 per person, $25 for a family of 6 and $40 per group of 10.

West Valley City

Outstanding creations • The Intermountain Society of Artists is holding a free opening reception for its annual fall show from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South. The nonprofit society meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at Sons of the Utah Pioneers Building, 3301 Louise Ave., Salt Lake City.
