Kendra Gillis, a senior at Copper Hills High, has volunteered at the Bingham Creek Library in West Jordan for almost a year. Each Friday after school, Gillis organizes the library's easy-reader and board-book collections, files requested items for patrons, makes sure the shelves are in order and ensures that sharpened pencils and paper are stocked near computers. "Kendra willingly does anything she is asked to do with a smile on her face," volunteer coordinator Carolyn Cammack wrote. "We surely appreciate her." —
