community service • National Honor Society students at Taylorsville High are working to complete 25 quilts by mid-March for needy babies and toddlers. The quilts will be packaged with other necessities and distributed to local women’s shelters, according to an item published in Granite School District’s Connections. An adviser at Taylorsville Career Center said the project began after a friend of hers decided to close her fabric shop and had fabric to spare.
