Softball tournaments continue in 5A, 4A

Taylorsville • The Class 5A and 4A softball tournaments at the Valley Complex headline Wednesday’s sports schedule along the Wasatch Front.

In the 5A tournament, Weber and Copper Hills played in one of the third-round games in the winners’ bracket on Tuesday. The other game matched Bingham and Taylorsville.

In the 4A tournament, Box Elder and Murray battled in third-round game in the winners’ bracket. In the other game, Roy battled Bountiful.

Play in the double-elimination tournaments continued late Tuesday night, so check The Tribune’s web site at tribpreps.com for all the matchups.

Also Wednesday, play in the consolation bracket of the Class 5A and 4A baseball tournaments will resume at Kearns High School.
