Racing returns to Miller Motorsports Park

What season is it? It's racing season!

The 2012 season at Miller Motorsports Park kicks off with the Utah Grand Prix on Saturday and Sunday. The racetrack will be rumbling with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, plus the SCCA Pro Racing Pirelli World Challenge Championships, the IMSA GT3 Challenge by Yokohama and Cooper Tires Prototype Lights Championship, the Pacific F2000 Championship and the Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy USA West.

Whew! Got all that?

The Miller Motorsports Park track is the longest in America at 4.5 miles. It features 23 turns, and cars reach up to 200 mph on the straightaway. —

Where: Miller Motorsports Park, 2901 North Sheep Lane, Tooele

Tickets: $18 advance, $25 day of the races. Available at the track, at all Smith's Tix locations and at smithstix.com
