Orem • The Weber State and Utah Valley women’s basketball teams will be looking to keep momentum Thursday when they meet at the UCCU Center Thursday at 7 p.m.
Utah Valley takes a 3-3 record into the game after coming off a 78-62 home victory over Tulsa Saturday. They have not lost on their home floor yet this season. The Wildcats won their first game of the season Saturday by rallying for an 18-point first-half deficit to beat San Jose State last Saturday.

The teams meet again Dec. 21 at the Dee Eventgs Center. Weber State leads the series 3-2. Last season’s game between the two teams in Orem was cancelled due to inclement weather and travel concerns.
The Wolverines, who are unbeaten at home, are led by Sammie Jensen and Jenna Johnson. Jensen is averaging 13 points and 8.7 rebounds, while Johnson is scoring 12.3 a game.
Weber State, now 1-7, is led in scoring and rebounding by junior forward Amanda Hughes. Junior guard Megan Patterson had 20 points in the Wildcats’ first win.
