It may indicate an auditory processing disorder (APD), a complex problem that affects 5 percent of school-age children, according to the Learning Disabilities Association of Utah. LDAU is hosting a presentation on APD, with presenters Nancy Murray and Allison Tanner, on Feb. 22, 7-8:45 p.m., at the South Jordan Library, 10673 S. Redwood Road. Free and open to the public.
