Blue Moon festival celebrates rarity • Every three years, a month has two full moons. That event, called a blue moon, happens Aug. 31 this year, and Holladay will feature a beer/wine garden, food, arts and crafts, live music and dancing from 5 to 10 p.m. in its new Village Center Plaza, 4660 S. 2300 East.


Heartwarming classic • There is still time to catch the final three performances of "Little Women." The show begins at 8 p.m. Aug. 23-25 at Murray Park Amphitheater, 495 E. 5300 South. Tickets cost $8 for adults, $6 for seniors. For more information, call 801-264-2614.
