Isaac Loveland was able to celebrate more than just turning 15 this month.

Just before his Aug. 18 birthday, Isaac became one of fewer than 100 boys across the nation who have earned every merit badge the Boy Scouts of America offer.

The Kaysville resident earned 133 badges with his troop, and he also serves as the 2012 chapter chief for the West Kaysville Chapter. The Boy Scouts of America created a new badge two days after Isaac's birthday, so he is working on earning that one, too.

"It has been a hard and long goal that has taught me how to plan, work with adults and build great skills," Isaac said.

Isaac excels not only in Boy Scouts. He is a graduate from the Spectrum Advance Placement Program in Davis County and will enter Davis High School a year ahead of his peers. He also will perform with Davis' marching band in the Rose Parade on New Year's Day in California.
