Homer and Betty Jo Sherwood have served as campground hosts at Yellowstone and Denali national parks, making friends from around the world and encouraging them to visit Utah.
The couple retired recently from their host duties, after serving 20 years at Yellowstone's Grant Village. Each year, they receive Christmas cards from around the globe because they have left such a positive impression on visitors.
"They have truly served as ambassadors to the world," said JoLynn Miller, who nominated the couple for recognition.
