Run to help others • The Rocky Mountain Care Foundation hosts the "Live to Give 5K Fun Run & Walk: Aug. 4 at Sugar House Park." Check-in is at 8 a.m. The race starts at 9 a.m. Entry is $25 for adults, $10 for children under age 10 and $75 for four or more immediate family members. Proceeds will fund home repairs for disabled and low-income seniors in Davis County.

Pioneer Park Picture Shows • Salt Lake City will show a free Audrey Hepburn movie every Friday night in August at Pioneer Park. The movies are all family-friendly, but fun for all ages. They are shown on a large inflatable screen. Popcorn is free while it lasts. Bring your blankets and chairs. Movies begin about 9 p.m.
