The ninth Savers thrift store in Utah will open Thursday in Bountiful.

The Bellevue, Wash.-based chain, which has more than 330 locations in North America, has planned three days of grand opening activities starting with an 8:45 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony at the store and its community donation center, 55 W. 500 South.

Savers will provide a portion of its revenues from the store to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Utah — just as it does with its other thrift stores, said store manager Boyd Gurney .
