One of the big hassles of travel is not being able to check in or out of a hotel at certain times of the day. This is especially true in a place such as Las Vegas, where there is something to do 24 hours a day.

The Palms Casino Resort recently announced that it will be the first major hotel in the United States to offer a no-extra-cost 24-hour check-out option on its Superior, Premier and Ivory Suites.

According to the hotel, guests booking directly through its website http://www.palms.com, guests note their anticipated check-out time on the website. Upon arrival, the guest will provide the hotel with a mobile number to communicate via text message. On the day of departure, the guest will receive a reminder text about the schedule departure time and can check out via text.

"Twenty-four hour check-out allows our guests to make the most of their visit at Palms and enjoy flexibility with their travel plans, whether that includes enjoying extra time at the pool or staying late to avoid traffic," said Christopher Joy, vice president of hotel operations at Palms Casino Resort.
