Gordon Moon, a farmer and cattle rancher from Duchesne, has been appointed to the Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining representing private landowners and mineral/royalty interests.

Once a CPA for a national accounting firm in Los Angeles, Moon returned to Utah to run his family ranch, which operates on private property and lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service and state School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration.
