Family Circle magazine has named Salt Lake City as one of the top six cities in North America to visit for family-friendly Olympic fun.

The magazine praised the host of the 2002 Winter Games for offering public bobsled rides and museums that offer a look at Olympic history and artifacts.

Other cities include Calgary's Canada Olympic Park ski jump tower; public skating at Lake Placid's Olympic Center where the 1980 Miracle on Ice U.S. Victory over the Soviet Union occurred; Lake Tahoe skiing; Vancouver, B.C., for snowboarding, and the BC Sports Hall of Fame, and the Pettit National Ice Center for speed skating in Milwaukee.
