Salt Lake County-based ZAGG Inc., which makes protective screens for mobile devices, announced Monday that its newest product, the invisibleSHIELD GLASS, is launching in Best Buy stores nationwide. The protector also is sold at ZAGG kiosks and online at http://www.zagg.com.

The new shield is made of tempered glass instead of the usual sheet of plastic and covers a mobile device's screen to protect it from scratches. The product sells for $39.99 and is available for iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy and other mobile devices. GLASS was introduced at last month's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
