Snowbasin will open for the ski season Thanksgivinng, offering "top to bottom" skiing on a base averaging between 18 and 22 inches on six runs.
On opening day, the Needles Gondola and Middle Bowl Triple and Little Cat quad lifts will open as will two "pocket" terrain parks. More terrain and lifts will open as weather permits.
Early day ticket rates are $41 for youths and $69 for adults. The annual Thanksgiving dinner at Earl's Lodge has sold out. Needles Lodge will serve food on Thanksgiving Day.
