It may not be the cheeriest of subjects for the holidays, but Salt Lake City's Myriad Genetics is urging families to talk about their health history this season.

It has launched the "Just Ask" campaign, which encourages people to discuss hereditary cancer with family members. The campaign runs online and through social media this month and in December.

The campaign offers a tip sheet on hereditary cancer, a quiz and stories from patients and caregivers. To learn more, go to http://www.myriad.com/talk-about-cancer.
