Salt Lake County-based ZAGG, which produces protective film and other accessories for mobile electronics, has introduced a version of its invisibleSHIELD protective cover and keyboard folios for the upcoming iPad Air.

The invisibleSHIELD is a clear plastic film that can cover the entire iPad and comes in three variations. They are priced from $29.99 to $34.99 and can cover just the screen or the entire device.

ZAGG also introduced a new Folio case for the iPad Air that is a case for the device that also has a built-in back-lit keyboard. The case can be opened and hold the device at an angle for typing. The wireless keyboard runs on Bluetooth. The Folio is priced at $99.99.

ZAGG's subsidiary, iFrogz, also is releasing a case for the iPad Air that doubles as a viewing stand when opened. The iFrogz Script Cover is priced at $39.99.

All items will begin shipping this week in anticipation of the new iPad Air, which will go on sale Friday starting at $499. The new version of Apple's iPad sports a smaller form factor with the same screen size as earlier versions. It also will have a faster processor.
