National sporting goods retailer Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc. has opened its newest Utah store in Vernal.
The new Hibbett Sports store at 1495 West Highway 40 in Aaron's Plaza, also has outlets in Price and Richfield.
The chain stocks a large selection of athletic footwear, athletic apparel, team athletic equipment and a customer loyalty program.
"With the buying power of a national company, we offer our customers the convenience of buying the best in sports, right in their own neighborhoods," said Jeff Rosenthal, president and chief officer of Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc. "And we extensively train our employees to make sure they can provide superior service to our customers."
In business since 1945, the Alabama-based Hibbett Sporting Goods operates over 850 stores in small to mid-sized markets, predominantly in the Sunbelt, Mid-Atlantic and the lower Midwest.
