H&M, one of the world's largest fashion retailers, has announced a new location to open next spring at Traverse Mountain in Lehi.

The 23,000-square-foot store, which will be the fifth in Utah, will include full-priced collections for ladies, men, young ladies and young men, with separate "store within store" sections for accessories. This location will also carry H&M's children's collection.

Since H&M opened its first store on New York's Fifth Avenue 13 years ago, the U.S. has been one of the retailer's most important markets, with 278 locations nationwide, company officials said.

H&M, Hennes & Mauritz, founded in Sweden in 1947, has 2,900 stores in 49 markets and employs more than 104,000 people.
