franchise • Firehouse Subs opened its eighth Utah location in Salt Lake City this week, offering premium meats and cheeses piled atop toasted sub rolls and served with fresh produce.

Located at 2121 S. McClelland St., Firehouse Subs is open seven days a week, 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A unique feature to each Firehouse Subs restaurant is the custom, hand-painted mural inside dining rooms. This restaurant's mural features members of the Salt Lake City Fire Department enjoying an afternoon in Sugar House Park accompanied by the department's fire engine.

This is the first Firehouse Subs restaurant for franchisees Wes and Amy Boyack.

The Florida-based Firehouse Subs is a fast casual restaurant chain, founded by former firefighters and brothers Chris and Robin Sorensen. The chain has more than 640 restaurants in 36 states.
