Jibson new board chairman of Salt Lake Chamber

Ron Jibson, CEO of Questar Corp., has been named chairman of the Salt Lake Chamber's board of governors.

Jibson will serve a one-year term, effective immediately, the chamber announced Monday.

Jibson replaces Ray Pickup, CEO of the state Workers Compensation Fund. Pickup will remain on the chamber's executive board.

Terry Buckner, CEO of The Buckner Co., was named vice chairman. The post had been vacant.

Jibson also serves as chairman of the American Gas Association. Buckner served as chairman of the chamber's membership committee for the past year.
