Nintendo fans who can't make the trip to Los Angeles and the big E3 video game trade show will still be able to play demos of games the company plans to introduce at the convention.

The Japanese gaming giant is partnering with electronics retailer Best Buy to provide playable demos at 89 Best Buy stores around the country, including the store in Sandy at 35 E. 11400 South. These will be the same demos that Nintendo will make available on the convention floor during E3, which begins at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 11.

The games will be available at Best Buys from 4 to 8 p.m. June 12 and from 1 to 5 p.m. June 15. The list of games will be posted on June 11, but titles Nintendo plans to show off at E3 include "Mario & Luigi: Dream Team," "Mario Gold World Tour," "Mario Kart Wii U," "Pikmin 3," and "Super Mario 3D Wii U."

The list of participating stores is subject to change. For an updated list, go to www.bestbuy.com/NintendoEvents">http://www.bestbuy.com/NintendoEvents.
