Anniversary • Golden Brain Books, 151 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City, will celebrate its 30th anniversary from April 1 through April 7 beginning at 10 a.m. each day. A selection of over 200 titles of books are available for $5 each; and products have been carefully selected for a 75 percent reduction from each of the newly expanded sections including jewelry and body care, the new home and garden section, and gifts for feeding the mind, body, and spirit. Attendance is free.

Women & Children • In conjunction with the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Macy's at City Creek will hold a special Women and Children's Night beginning at 6 p.m. Activities will include informal modeling, kids' activities, a cooking demonstration, live music, a beauty bash and more.
