First Published Mar 06 2013 06:34 pm • Last Updated Mar 06 2013 06:34 pm

The following products and vehicles were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Unless otherwise indicated, discontinue use of the products immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund. For more information about the products, call the manufacturer or CPSC’s toll-free hotline, 800-638-2772. Only some cars or trucks recalled are affected. Contact a dealer for your model to see if it is included in the recall. The dealer will tell you what to do.

Problem • If a young child climbs up open dresser drawers, the dresser can tip over and pose the risk of entrapment. Call Gemme Juvenile toll-free at 855-364-2619 from 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, or visit the company’s website at www.chelseawallanchors.com to receive a free wall anchor kit.

Vehicles • 2003-2004 Dodge Viper

Problem • Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2003 and 2004 Dodge Viper vehicles manufactured from Nov. 1, 2001, through June 30, 2004. A component in the air bag control module may fail, causing the front air bags and/or seatbelt pretensioners to inadvertently deploy while the vehicle is being operated. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will repair the vehicles for free. An interim notification was sent in February. A remedy is expected to be available later in the year. Owners may contact Chrysler at 800-247-9753.
