How much great makeup can you buy and still get change from a $100 bill?

When Good Housekeeping asked readers, "What's your annual spending on makeup?" 60 percent said $100.

That's plenty, said celebrity makeup artist Troy Surratt. "Now more than ever, the quality of drugstore makeup is top-notch, and innovations drive industry trends."

Here, are 12 products that are some of his favorites.

Creamy L'Oreal Paris True Match Crayon Concealer • Knock out dark circles with this easy-to-use product that has a tapered tip that fits into hard-to-reach spots for an even look that will leave you looking refreshed — $9.

E.L.F Blush Bronzing Cream • For a rosy flush or a golden glow, this two-in-one product gives you fun options to create the look you want. Just smooth on either cheek hue — $3.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balms • A favorite of beauty editors, the balms can soothe dry lips and add sheer color in one swipe. Not only are they available in great colors, but they're perfect for keeping your lips crack-free — $7.

CoverGirl Clump Crusher • Never skip mascara, said Surratt. It is the best eye definer. And this product layers on in seconds — $7.

Amp up the polish by investing in these extras:

Rimmel London BB Cream • A multitasker saves minutes during the a.m. rush — $7.

E.L.F. Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick • The tiny-priced creamy crayon is no different from the expensive ones, delivering just the right amount of color and shine — $2.
