Associated Food stores to offer diabetes workshops

A free diabetes education and nutrition program is being offered in March at select Associated Food Stores along the Wasatch Front.

The events provide those affected by diabetes with an opportunity to learn how to better manage the disease and how to make diet choices to improve health.

Each 90-minute class is led by a trained diabetes care pharmacist and registered dietician.

2 p.m., March 6 • Dan's Foothill, 1360 S. Foothill Blvd., Salt Lake City

2 p.m., March 14 • Fresh Market, 3555 W. 3500 South, West Valley City

5 p.m., March 14 • Fresh Market, 1825 W. 4700 South, Taylorsville

2 p.m., March 20 • Dick's, 84 W. Parrish Lane, Centerville

5:30 p.m., March 22 • Macey's, 7859 S. 3200 West, West Jordan

2 p.m., March 28 • Fresh Market, 1860 E. 9400 South, Sandy —
