Initial public offerings as provided by Renaissance Capital, Greenwich, Conn., (ipohome.com) and SEC filings:

Sprott Physical Platinum and Palladium Trust • Toronto, Ontario, 35 million units priced at $10 each, managed by Morgan Stanley, RBC, BofA Merrill Lynch, and UBS. Proposed NYSE Arca symbol SPPP. Business: The Trust seeks to provide a convenient and exchange-traded investment alternative for investors interested in holding physical platinum and palladium bullion without the inconvenience that is typical of a direct investment in physical platinum and palladium bullion.

Monday

Concert • The Larry H. Miller family and Robert C. Bowden present the 28th annual Christmas Carol Sing-Along, 7 p.m., Energy Solutions Arena. The free event will feature country music singer Collin Raye and former football coaches LaVell Edwards and Ron McBride. The emcee will be Fox TV personality Big Budah. All guests will receive a gift package, including a holiday treat, while supplies last. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
