Mountain America Credit Union has been named a "Gold Fit-Friendly Worksite" by the American Heart Association.
The award reflects Mountain America's recognition of the importance of a healthy workplace for employees and the steps the credit union has taken to create a culture of wellness.
Over the past five years, Mountain America has started wellness programs that attract employee participants at all levels of fitness, such as complimentary yoga sessions, monthly seated chair massages and a comprehensive wellness fair that gives employees access to dozen of wellness vendors to gauge their overall health and "know their numbers."
