Erin Kate Cassiere, a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, has joined Layton-based Rocky Mountain Women's Health Center at Davis Medical Group in Layton. Cassiere earned her medical degree at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Afterward, she completed an obstetrics/gynecology residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

MHTN Architects, Salt Lake City, has announced that Skyler Rubel has been promoted to co-director of K-12 educational design. He has more than 34 years of architectural experience. David Daining has been named director of health care. He has more than 27 years of experience in the design field. Michael T. Buell has been named an "SMPS Fellow" by the Society for Marketing Professional Services, an organization made up of marketing and business development professionals from the architectural and design industries.

Rene Johnson has been elected president of the Utah chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. In addition, five new members have been named to the organization's board to fill leadership positions. Janice Boes, the owner of Premier Corporate Events and Pierpont Place, is the chapter's president-elect. Amber Dixon, marketing director for Intermountain Financial Group and owner of Amber Gold Marketing, is vice president of trustees. Shannon Parisi, co-owner of Salt Lake Chiropractic, is vice president of membership. Annette Pieper, owner of Vision 2 Reality Training, is vice president of programs. Sabina Zunguze, owner of Beautiful Options USA and DBA A Gift to Africa, is vice president of communications. MaryPat Kavanagh, the chapter's past president, will continue to serve on the board as chairwoman.

Snell & Wilmer announced that Jeffrey W. Shields has joined the bankruptcy and reorganization practice group as a partner in the firm's Salt Lake City office. Shields is the third experienced bankruptcy attorney to join the firm since May. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Shields was the practice group leader of the bankruptcy/creditors' rights practice group for Jones Waldo.

Debbie Engebretsen has joined Intermountain Financial Group, the Utah Agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co., as a financial services professional. Engebretsen specializes in long-term-care insurance and the women's market.

Alliance for a Better UTAH has hired Isaac Holyoak as communications director. Holyoak brings several years of experience in communications and public relations to the position. Previously, he was a communications researcher at Texas A&M. The Alliance for a Better UTAH is a year-round, multi-issue education and advocacy organization providing resources and commentary on important public policy matters.

Skullcandy Inc. said it has appointed Kyle B. Wescoat senior vice president and chief financial officer. Wescoat has more than 25 years of financial, accounting, IT and supply chain management experience.

AtTask, a Utah company that provides work management software, has announced new members and changes to its executive team. Ted Hoy has joined as chief technology officer, Frank Maylett as senior vice president of global sales, Bryan Nielson as chief marketing officer, Jackie Golden as senior vice president, customer experience, and Nate Bowler as general manager of the newly created Marketing Solutions Group business unit.
