The job fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the South Towne Expo Center, 9575 S. State Street in Sandy.

Interested employers and job seekers should register for free at hoh.greatjob.net. Walk-in job seekers are allowed. Veterans must provide military ID.

The event will include a free employment workshop featuring one-on-one mentoring sessions on resume building and writing, as well as interviewing techniques for all job seekers.

Since it launch in March 2011, Hiring Our Heroes has held more than 330 hiring fairs nationwide, helping more than 14,100 veterans and military spouses find employment. Thursday’s event is also part of "Hiring 500,000 Heroes," a national campaign announced by the U.S. Chamber, National Chamber Foundation and Capital One, to engage the business community in committing to hire 500,000 veterans and military spouses by the end of 2014.
