The Deseret News Home Show, now in its 33rd year, opens at 2 p.m. Friday at the South Towne Exposition Center, 9575 S. State Street in Sandy.

The show will feature TV personalities from the HGTV network, do-it-yourself demonstrations, gift card giveaways and exhibitor booths.

The three day event runs through Sunday, opening at 10 a.m. on Saturday and closing both Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. On Sunday, doors open at 11 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for seniors. Children 12 years old and under are admitted free.

On Friday, military, police and fire personnel are admitted free. Also, tickets can be purchased online at SaltLakeHomeShow.com for a $2 savings all three days.
