The Sun Products Corp. is planning to consolidate its Utah warehousing and distribution operations from six buildings into two main facilities covering 1 million square feet in Freeport West's Landmark Industrial Park in Salt Lake City.

The company, which is headquartered in Wilton, Conn., is a provider of laundry detergents and fabric softeners sold under the Wisk, All and Snuggle brands.

"Due to the accessibility of major interstates and a large rail hub, the versatility of the property and buildings, and proximity to other Sun Products facilities, [the Landmark Industrial Park] made the most strategic and economic sense," said Skip Tappan, corporate director of distribution and logistics for Sun Products.

The Landmark Industrial Park is near 1500 S. and 5200 West in Salt Lake City.

Sun Products will be leasing the two buildings. Construction on one was completed this month, with an adjacent structure scheduled to be finished in the third quarter of next year.

NAI West President Mike Falk, Executive Vice President Zach Anderson and NAI's Bryce Blanchard and Kyle Roberts managed the lease transaction.
