Sports apparel for sale at Scheels Saturday September 29, 2012. Scheels opened its 220,000-square-foot mega-sporting goods store in Sandy. Featuring a 16-car Ferris wheel rising toward a skylight, a 16,000-gallon double-arched salt water aquarium, a boating department, game centers and a focus on fashionable apparel, the store is meant to be a fun destination, said Dan Hermanson, an assistant store leader.
