Lecture • Utah Valley University's International & Multicultural Studies presents its third Global Spotlight Eurasia lecture of the fall semester. Beginning at noon, room 120 of the UVU Library, Frederick White, associate dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, will speak on the "Silver Age Culture in Russia." The lecture is free and open to the public.

Lecture • Robert Simmons, a partner with Bendigo Partners, an international financial investment and operational firm, will speak at Utah Valley University at the Reed & Christine Halladay Lecture Series, a weekly dialogue between academia and industry. The lecture is free and open to the public and begins at noon in the UVU Sorensen Student Center's Ragan Theater.
Gathering • Utah Valley University's International & Multicultural Studies will host its weekly New York Times Global Review, a gathering where UVU faculty, staff, the public and students engage in critical discussion about events covered in the newspaper. The discussions are part of UVU's Times Campus Readership Program. Leading this week's discussion will be John MacFarlane, academic adviser for history and political science. Those who attend are asked to bring a copy of the daily edition of The New York Times. The free event will begin at noon in Room 147 of the Woodbury Business Building.
Job Fair • Job seekers can bring their résumés and meet potential employers from 4 p.m to 7 p.m. at the Utah Valley University Wasatch Campus. Dozens of companies, including Maurices, Del Taco, Primerica, The Home Depot, Heber Valley Railroad, Zermatt and Homestead Resorts, Canyons Resort, Anderson Insurance Consulting, Smith's Food & Drug, Stein Ericksen and many others will be in attendance. The UVU Wasatch Campus is on U.S. Highway 40 in Heber City at 3111 N. College Way.
