New York-based digital content creation company Crossborders LLC said it will merge operations with Rain, a Utah-based software and interactive development company.
The combined 75-person firm will operate under Rain’s name, and Crossborders will become the label for the documentary film and television segment of the entity.

Crossborders and Rain have worked together before. The two firms were partners in the launch of the mobile game "The Adventures of Timmy: Run Kitty Run." It has been downloaded more than 500,000 times and was the recipient of the 2012 Webby Award for "People’s Choice in Handheld Games" and a Favourite Website Award.
"We are tremendously pleased to have the opportunity to come together with Rain and its extraordinarily talented team," Brian Edelman, the founder of Crossborders and CEO of the new Rain, said in a statement.
He said Rain will be jointly based out of Crossborder’s existing New York headquarters and Rain’s American Fork offices.
