Fashion Place asks for mall memories on its 40th anniversary

In preparation for the celebration of its 40th anniversary this October, Fashion Place Mall in Murray is asking community members to share their favorite memories of the mall from 1972-2012.

The shopping complex plans to create a 41-foot-by-5-foot "Mall of Memories" wall display where selected stories from shoppers and community members will be featured during the celebration events Oct. 15-20.

Those who are interested in participating should send a brief write-up of their favorite mall memory, along with a photo if possible, to fashionplaceadmin@ggp.com. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 1. Those who submit memories are asked to include their name, age and telephone number.
