The following products and vehicles were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Unless otherwise indicated, discontinue use of the products immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund. For more information about the products, call the manufacturer or CPSC's toll-free hotline, 800-638-2772. Only some cars or trucks recalled are affected. Contact a dealer for your model to see if it is included in the recall. The dealer will tell you what to do.

Product • CareBears Pacifiers, sold at various discount and dollar stores, Walmart-Puerto Rico, children's apparel stores and Consolidated Stores nationwide from October 2009 through June 2012 for about $1.

Problem • The pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards. The nipples can separate from the base, posing a choking hazard to young children. Vehicle • Chevrolet Sonic 2012

Problem • The windshield-wiper washer hose may separate from the washer-fluid reservoir. Owners may contact the Chevrolet Owner Center at 866-694-6546.
