Magazine ranks Westminster College among the best in the West
For the 18th consecutive year, Utah's Westminster College has been ranked as a "Best Regional University" by U.S. News and World Report.
In the publication's latest annual ranking of American colleges and universities, Westminster was placed at 22nd in the Western region, and was again included as an "A+ School for B Students" as well as a "Great School at a Great Price."
"We are very proud that our efforts to make a quality education affordable have been recognized, and that Westminster is seen as a 'Best Value' college," said Brian Levin Stankevich, the school's president. "This should be especially significant to parents and students who are scrutinizing colleges and costs in this current economic climate."
U.S. News and World Report launched its annual ranking of American colleges and universities in 1983. Data is collected and tabulated on each participating school for up to 16 indicators of academic quality including peer review, student selectivity and faculty resources and retention.
