Product • Energizer Rotating Night Lights
Problem • The lights can overheat and smoke, posing a burn hazard to consumers. Immediately stop using the product and unplug it. Contact Energizer for instructions on returning the night lights for a $7 coupon toward the purchase of an Energizer product. For additional information, contact Energizer at 800-383-7323 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or visit the firm's website at http://www.energizer.com.
Vehicles • Suzuki Forenza 2004-2006, Suzuki Reno 2005-2006
Problem • Increased resistance because of poor contact between the terminals of certain wires can generate heat that can melt the splice pack used to connect the power circuit wires for the headlamps. This can result in intermittent or total loss of low/high beam headlamp function. Suzuki will notify owners, and dealers will reconnect the affected wires with two heat-shrink crimps, free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin this month. Owners may contact Suzuki at 714-996-7040.
