Product • Kenmore Dehumidifiers, sold at Sears and Kmart stores nationwide, and Sears.com and Kmart.com from 2003 to 2009 for $140 to $220.

Problem • The dehumidifiers can overheat, smoke, melt and catch on fire, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. Consumers should immediately turn off and unplug the dehumidifiers and contact the company to receive a Sears gift card for either $75, $80, $90 or $100, which may be used at any Sears or Kmart store or at Sears.com or Kmart.com. The gift card amount will depend on the capacity and year of the dehumidifier. In lieu of a gift card, consumers may request a check for the refund amount. All consumers with recalled units also will receive a $25 coupon that may be used at Sears department stores or Sears.com toward the purchase of a new Kenmore dehumidifier. For additional information, contact the Recall Fulfillment Center toll-free at 1-855-400-4641 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, or visit http://www.Kenmoredehumidifierrecall.com.

Vehicles • Lexus HS 250 Hybrid 2010 and Toyota RAV4 2006-2011.

Problem • If the nuts for adjusting the rear wheel alignment are improperly tightened when an alignment is performed, the thread portion of the arm (shaft and turn-buckle) may become loose and rust. This may lead to thread wear in the turn-buckle, causing the arm to separate, which could result in a loss of vehicle control. Toyota is working on a remedy and will provide a notification schedule when it becomes available. Owners may contact Toyota at 800-331-4331 or Lexus at 1-800-255-3987.
