Bike Utah gets $3,000 grant for SLC cycling

Cycling retailer donates $3,000 to Bike Utah

Recreation » Performance Bicycle, one of the nation’s largest independent cycling retailers, said it has donated $3,000 to Bike Utah to help in its effort to raise cycling awareness and get more people out biking. Bike Utah is working with a number of partners to launch a 2013 Ciclovia Open Streets event in Salt Lake City, which would entail temporary closure of city streets to automobile traffic for bicycles and pedestrians.
