The sales event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Home Depot locations in Riverton (3852 W. 13400 South), Sandy (9570 Highland Drive) and Riverdale (999 W. Riverdale Road).
Representatives from Rocky Mountain Power’s Home Energy Savings program will present information on the many benefits of high-efficiency lighting and on incentive programs.
Rocky Mountain Power offers $20 cash back on qualified Energy Star light fixtures, including the latest LED fixtures. Beyond the up-front savings, such lighting uses up to 75 percent less energy than traditional fixtures and offers significantly longer lamp life, officials say.
Qualified Energy Star models are available in hard-wired options for virtually every part of the home. They include indoor and outdoor fixtures, dimmable models and a selection of LED fixtures providing a high level of efficiency.
Rocky Mountain Power also offers cash back for a variety of energy-efficient appliances.
